CBS basketball analyst Greg Anthony was arrested Friday and charged with soliciting a prostitute, according to a report by the Associated Press.
Anthony, who also played in the NBA, was arrested by District of Columbia police and released Friday night. Solicitation is a misdemeanor punishable by up to 180 days in jail.
Anthony was scheduled to announce the Michigan State-Maryland basketball game Saturday afternoon in College Park, Md. A CBS spokesman said in a statement that Anthony has been suspended:
Greg Anthony will not be working again for CBS this season. He has been suspended indefinitely.
